Typecast App (beta)
A in-browser type choosing tool that lets web designers and developers experiment with type choices in the browser. No more of this ‘it didn’t look like that in the PSD’ nonsense! Currently in beta but they are quick to respond when you request an invitation.
Mouseflow
A mouse tracking software that makes in page analysis easy. It will record users’ visits, which you can then play back, as well as track mouse heat, clicks and viewports. I sign into this software at least twice a week and consider the data in my decisions for web updates or copy changes.
UI Cloud
A great resource for designers, UX experts and developers. Quickly browse through iterations of specific UI elements for inspiration and research.
Invision App
Need an ultra quick way to map links for wireframe prototypes? This is the best resource for that. It is free for 2 simultaneous projects, and quite affordable for higher plans. Drag and drop to replace files and just copy a link to send to a customer.
Smartsheet
An online project collaboration tool that allows for multiple users to make tracked changes within a project plan, UAT plan, and more. It also quickly produces Gantt charts without the need for project management software installed on your computer.
