Development Manager
A lover of sci-fi and a self confessed geek, Iain has over 10 years development and management experience including LAMP (Perl,PHP) and Open Source Tools. Previously, Iain worked in the systems and commercial development teams at M.E.N. Media (Guardian Media Group). Before that he spent 7 years knee deep in XML and EDI whilst managing a small team of developers in the travel industry. Through Iain's experience he has learned to follow three important mantras: Things need to be kept simple and fast, never trust the XML specification, and above all: Test. Now Development Manager at Ampersand Commerce, Iain has transferred as much of this knowledge to Magento as possible with a particular focus on automated testing, performance and server configurations.
